Blackrock Sundial Day to Night
This photograph is 18 months in the making. I attempted this on three separate occasions to capture these set of photographs of both a sunrise and full moon rise. There are only two narrow windows of opportunity to capture this kind of photograph per year at the sundial (Millennium Monument, Blackrock Co. Louth).
Thankfully it all worked out for me on this occasion. I photographed the moonrise first at about 12am Tuesday night and returned seven hours later at 7am Wednesday morning to capture the sunrise. Each time the tripod had to be setup in the exact spot in order for the two photographs to line up. This kind of photograph can be known as either Day to Night Photograph or simply a timelapse photograph.

PRINTING OPTIONS
Prints - All photos are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Lustre paper which has a semi-gloss, textured finish giving a sharp and punchy look to the prints which suits my vibrant style of photography.
Mount & Frame - Photos are mounted onto a 2” wide, white, single mount and framed in a simple modern frame with colour options of black, white or cream. The framing is finished off with clarity glass, a premium glass reducing the glare so the photo has optimum viewing angles in majority of rooms and spaces.
Canvas - Photos are printed on stretched canvas for that classic gallery clean line finish.
All prints come with my signature digitized in the bottom corner of the photo for authenticity.
SIZING
All sizes displayed are in inches and account for the photo size. To calculate the total frame size simply add 3.5” to each side of the photo size, for example a 36x24 photo; mounted and framed is approximately 43x31.
Orders dispatched within 10 working days.
All Frame & Canvas orders must be collected in Dundalk Co. Louth.
